I am an integrative ecologist and microbiologist interested in linking patterns across scales of biological and ecological organization in a rapidly changing environment. Primarily, I relate spatiotemporal variation in species interactions and patterns in realized molecular phenotypes to the physical and functional stability of complex microbial assemblages. I blend classic ecological frameworks and field experimental approaches with modern techniques in molecular biology.
